XBOX 360 ‘Ring of death’ is Solved

Xbox designers say they have resolved the ‘red ring of death’ that resulted in many ruined consoles. After the XBOX 360 being released in the market for 3 years and 2 months, Aaron Greenberg has announced that finally there is a fix for the issue that caused failures for XBOX 360’s.

After extended the RROD warranty, numerous revisions of the hardware and software, things are finally looking up. Aaron Greenberg has told Edge Online, that with better technology and with the way that they handle repairs there will be fewer RROD’s or even none at all. This can mean good news for all new buyers because they can finally get the XBOX 360 they wanted without worrying if it will RROD. Even previous buyers may rejoice because they can finally get Microsoft to repair their console (if it RROD’s) and not have to worry about getting the same problem again.xbox360-ringofdeath

What is new in Windows 7 Build 7022?

Recently we posted that the download of Windows 7 Beta 7022, and whether you read it here or anywhere else, some of you enthusiasts downloaded it. For those of you that didn’t and want to, you can view this post to find out for information.

Well now that it has been released though, what are some new features that have come with the new build? There may not be that many changes from the Beta 1 release that many of you have downloaded, but if you are interested there are some new features.

New features that are included are:

  • Internet Explorer RC1 has been included, giving you better experience.
  • There has been lots of changes to gadgets option. Windows Sidebar has been renamed to Desktop Gadget Gallery and Gadgets now work if UAC is on or off.
  • There are new icons: Home groups, Paint (new past icon), and jump lists in the Control Panel have icons.
  • With the new icons in the Control Panel, the task pane on the left has been removed and choosing the view has been moved to the top right (Category, Size of Icons.
  • A Home group is created during installation, no need for a request for the user to make one.
  • New start menu buttons can be added, Home group and Downloads.
  • WMP12 also has a slightly new icon,the Library button has moved to the top right hand corner of the now playing window.
  • In Windows Explorer the task-pane has been given a new color, from blue to a grayish white.
  • A video and three music tracks has been added with the installation from Microsoft.
  • Windows Explorer animations when moving items have been tweaked and a new fade effect when changing wallpaper.
  • Media Playback Applications (WMP, Media Center, etc.) can now be removed in the Windows Features.
  • Windows logo & Aurora screen savers are missing from this build of Windows 7.
  • Last, but not least, the general stability of the OS has been improved.

Windows 7 Build 7022 Has Leaked

Since the release of Beta 1 of Microsoft’s Windows 7 new builds have been made and a couple have leaked. With all these builds that are leading up to Release Candidate 1, a new build has been leaked and that is build 7022 has leaked to the internet today. The build is Build 7022.winmain.090115-1850 band that is the latest build leaked for users. As, some Microsoft employees recently released information that they had build 7034.
