Microsoft Store, Coming Soon

Microsoft has recently appointed David Porter Corporate Vice President of retail stores, which opened up the move to open up a retail store, which would compete with Apple Store and the Sony Store for software and hardware.  “There are tremendous opportunities ahead for Microsoft to create a world-class shopping experience for our customers,” Porter said.

Not many details have been released about the retail stores opening up or where, but it appears that Microsoft could offer many difference products. One of the main products they will be selling would be Windows Ready PC’s, Windows 7 and other software from Microsoft like Live services, smartphones, PDA’s, the Zune, Xbox 360 console and games.
